When Barb was creating Empowered, she was thinking of all the people she’d spoken to over the years who have felt as though they were in a rut, couldn’t have a life of their own, and that life was passing them by. A pure essential oil blend of Frankincense, Geranium, Patchouli, Rose Geranium, and Vanilla Boosted Extract, Barb chose these oils to balance the emotions, feel grounded, relax, to encourage sleep, and to help get rid of all the clutter that gets stored in your head. This creates the energy and the power to help you move on.
Frankincense essential oil has a woody, sweet aroma, and is thought to have powerful anti-inflammatory, digestive, expectorant, and sedative properties. This oil is steam distilled from the resin and is an earthy base note that has been known to be extremely calming and a great meditation aid.
Geranium essential oil is considered to be stimulating and uplifting, and is steam distilled from the leaves and flowers of the plant. Geranium essential oil has an herbaceous and somewhat sweet scent and is a great middle note in lots of blends.
Patchouli essential oil has many potential properties, the most noted in this blend are its antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, and cytophylactic nature. With its strong, a little sweet and musky aroma, this oil is widely used in the perfume industry as a base note.
Rose Geranium essential oil has a beautiful floral, herbaceous scent, and is loved for its antibacterial, anti-depressant, and anti-inflammatory properties. This oil is well documented for being an extremely versatile oil and has been known to help PMS and menopausal problems. Furthermore, Rose Geranium essential oil is thought to be balancing for the skin.
Vanilla Boosted Extract is not an essential oil, and because of that has no therapeutic properties. However, the gorgeous sweet, comforting, and warm aroma lends itself to be added in many blends because of how good it smells.
Add a few drops in your Diffuser to permeate the scent throughout your home, or put a few drops on a cotton ball or tissue and carry in a purse, bag, or pocket.
